Ever had an event timeline or checklist get archived, only to realize you need to bring it back to life? Whether it's because of postponements or rescheduling, Timeline Genius makes reactivating archived events a breeze.
In Timeline Genius, events are automatically archived based on the event date and the dates of the individual timeline items — there is no manual way to archive an event. Once an event passes, the system archives it automatically for future reference.
Our Event Reactivation feature lets you seamlessly restore both timelines and checklists, so you're covered no matter what comes your way. Here's how to reactivate your event in just a few easy steps.
Steps to Reactivate an Archived Event
Navigate to the "Archived Timelines" section in your Timeline Genius account.
Click on "Event Actions" for the event you wish to reactivate.
Select "Reactivate Event" from the dropdown menu.
Enter the new event date when prompted.
Click "Reactivate Event."
Once completed, your event will automatically open, ready for you to make any updates or adjustments needed!
Why Use Event Reactivation?
This feature was initially inspired by the challenges of the pandemic, but it's now an essential tool for handling any unexpected changes. No need to recreate your event from scratch — just reactivate and keep planning!
Enjoy the peace of mind knowing that your archived events are always just a few clicks away from being restored. Happy planning!
