Updated this week

Want to keep your Clipboard items up to date as your workflows evolve? While there's no direct “edit” button for Clipboard items yet, you can absolutely make updates — and it's super easy!

Here’s how to do it in a few quick steps 👇

✨ Step-by-Step: Updating a Clipboard Item

  1. Add the item from your Clipboard into your event timeline.

    • Click on the Clipboard icon from your timeline editor.

    • Select the item you want to update.

    • Click “Add to Timeline.”

  2. Make your edits directly in the timeline.

    • Update the item’s time, title, assignee, notes — anything you need!

  3. Save your changes back to the Clipboard.

    • Click on the three dots (•••) next to the item in the timeline.

    • Select “Save to Clipboard.”

    • When prompted, choose “Overwrite Existing Item” instead of “Save as New Item.”

🧠 Why Overwrite?

Overwriting keeps your Clipboard organized and up to date — no need to scroll through duplicates or wonder which version is the latest!

🔄 Can I Undo or Restore an Older Version?

Currently, once you overwrite a Clipboard item, the previous version is replaced. If you want to keep both versions, select “Save as New Item” instead.

💡 Pro Tip:

You can use this method to build a master library of your favorite timeline items and keep them evolving with your workflow — perfect for improving your templates over time!
