Managing multiple events often means making quick adjustments to your timelines or checklists. In Timeline Genius, you can easily bulk delete timeline or checklist items within an event to streamline your planning process. Here’s a step-by-step guide to bulk deleting items:

Step-by-Step Instructions for Bulk Deleting Timeline or Checklist Items

  1. Open a Timeline or Checklist:

Begin by accessing the timeline or checklist you want to edit from your dashboard. Navigate to the relevant event and select the timeline or checklist where you need to make deletions.

  2. Select the Items to Delete:

For each item you want to delete, click the checkbox located next to it. You can select multiple items at once by clicking their respective checkboxes.

  3. Scroll Back Up to the Top:

After selecting all items, scroll up to the top of the timeline or checklist. This step is necessary to access the bulk editing options.

  4. Click the “Bulk Edits” Dropdown Button:

At the top of the timeline or checklist, locate the “Bulk Edits” dropdown button. Click it to see the available bulk actions.

  5. Select “Delete”:

From the dropdown menu, select the “Delete” option. This will initiate the deletion process for the items you selected.

  6. Confirm the Deletion:

A confirmation pop-up will appear, asking if you’re sure you want to delete the selected items. Click “Yes” to confirm the deletion. Once confirmed, the selected items will be permanently removed from your timeline or checklist.

Tips for Using Bulk Delete

  • Double-Check Before You Confirm: Once you confirm the deletion, it cannot be undone. Ensure you have selected the correct items to avoid accidental loss of important information.

  • Use Filters for Easier Selection: Before selecting items, consider using filters to narrow down the list, especially if you’re working with a large timeline or checklist.

  • Refresh the Page: After deleting items, refreshing the page can help update the display to reflect the changes accurately.

By following these steps, you’ll be able to efficiently manage and clean up your event timelines or checklists, saving you time and helping you stay organized. If you have further questions or need assistance with bulk deleting items, feel free to reach out to our support team. We’re here to help!
