How to Locate and Manage Partially Started Timelines and Understand Credit Usage

When using Timeline Genius, you may occasionally start creating a timeline but exit before completing it. These partially started timelines are saved in a specific section of your dashboard, and understanding how to access and manage them can help you avoid unnecessary credit usage.

What is the 'Pre-Active' Tab?

The 'Pre-Active' tab is a dedicated section in your Timeline Genius dashboard where timelines that were started but not completed are stored. This feature ensures that your work is saved, even if you exit the timeline creation process prematurely.

Why Do Timelines Appear in the 'Pre-Active' Tab?

If you begin creating a timeline, such as previewing a checklist or entering initial details, and then exit before generating the final timeline, the system records this as a partially started event. These events are automatically saved in the 'Pre-Active' tab for your convenience.

Additionally, if you've send the Client Form, the event will be in the pre-active tab until you've approved the form.

Understanding Credit Usage

When you start creating a timeline and exit before completing it, a credit is used. By resuming your work from the 'Pre-Active' tab, you can continue without using an additional credit. To regain your credit, you can delete the pre-active event.

How to Access and Resume Partially Started Timelines

Follow these steps to locate and manage your partially started timelines or checklists:

  1. Open your Timeline Genius dashboard.

  2. Navigate to the 'Pre-Active' tab.

  3. Locate the event you started but didn’t complete.

  4. Click on the event to resume your work.

By resuming your timeline from the 'Pre-Active' tab, you can pick up where you left off without creating a new timeline or using another credit.

Summary

The 'Pre-Active' tab is a valuable tool for managing new events that were started but not completed. It ensures your work is saved and allows you to resume without consuming additional credits. By understanding how this feature works, you can efficiently manage your timelines and credits within Timeline Genius.
