TimelineGenius's Image Page feature allows you to add a custom visual, such as a cover page, to your wedding timeline. This gives your finished timeline a polished, professional look before your client gets into the timeline details.
How to Add an Image Page
Open your timeline.
On the right side, click Add.
Select the Image Page option (located in the middle of the menu).
A new section called Image Page will be created at the bottom of your timeline.
Uploading Your Image
Click Add Image.
Select a JPEG or PNG file from your desktop.
Maximum file size: 2 MB.
Your image will be added as the content of the Image Page section.
Moving the Image Page to the Top (Cover Page)
Since an Image Page is typically used as a cover page, you'll want to move it from the bottom of your timeline to the top:
Go to Timeline Actions.
Select Reorder Sections.
Locate your Image Page section (it will initially appear at the bottom).
Click and drag the dots on the left side of the section to move it to the top of your timeline.
Click Save.
Note: Image Page sections automatically include a default page break, ensuring the image appears alone on its own page, with your timeline items beginning on a new page immediately after.
Managing Your Image
Click the three dots under Actions next to your Image Page section to:
Preview the image
Download the file
Replace the file with a different image
Delete the file
Note: Deleting the file only removes the image itself — it does not delete the Image Page section. The empty section will remain at the top of your timeline, ready for a new image to be added.
Previewing Your Timeline
Go to Timeline Actions.
Select Preview to generate a PDF.
Your timeline will now show a professional cover page, followed by a new page where your timeline items begin.
