Over the years, one of the biggest lessons we've learned is that each of you has your own special way of doing timelines... And that means you may want to show more or less content on each page. Maybe you like to show more content per page, so your timelines will have fewer pages overall. Or maybe you just want to maximize horizontal space to be able to show a larger floor plan image. Whatever your use case, here is how you can customize your page margins:
When you're logged in to My Timelines, click on the dropdown of your company name in the top right corner.
Select "Preferences".
Your top, bottom, left, and right margins can each be set using the dropdown selector for each field. Select your preferred value from the available options in the dropdown — you cannot type a custom number into these fields.
Click "Update" and refresh any timeline previews you have open. Voilà!
Tip: If you're trying to fit a specific section (like ceremony items) onto fewer pages, try selecting the smallest available margin value and refreshing your preview. Keep in mind that if you need a completely separate PDF showing only one section, the Timeline Types feature may be a better solution — see the article on Timeline Types for details.
