Why Can’t I See a Collaborator’s Comment on a Timeline Item?

Trouble seeing collaborator comments? Check for deletions, removals, filters, or refresh delays. Here’s how to fix it!

If a collaborator's comment is missing from your timeline, but you received a notification for it, here are the most common reasons why:

🔍 Possible Reasons:

1️⃣ The collaborator was removed from the event – When a collaborator is removed from a timeline, all their comments are deleted, even if they are later re-added.


2️⃣ The collaborator deleted their comment – If the person who made the comment removed it, it will no longer appear.


3️⃣ A team member deleted the comment – If another team member or admin deleted the comment, it will no longer be visible.


4️⃣ Filters are hiding the comment – If you have a filter applied (e.g., "Show only incomplete tasks"), the comment may not be visible. Try adjusting your filters.


5️⃣ The page needs to be refreshed – Sometimes, updates take a moment to sync. Try refreshing the page or waiting for the auto-refresh (every 10 minutes).

🔹 Check if the collaborator is still assigned to the event.
🔹 Ask the collaborator if they deleted the comment.
🔹 Verify that no filters are hiding the comment.
🔹 Refresh the page or log out and back in.
