Collaborating but not getting notifications? Check spam, follow timelines, and refresh the page to see unread notifications.

Are you using Timeline Genius to collaborate, but not receiving notifications of comments, edits, invite accepts, etc.? This article will explain what to do if you're not receiving emails and/or seeing them under the bell icon.

We send out one email per day for notifications regarding timelines, so you're not receiving several emails each time a change is made. You can also refresh your page anytime to see the bell icon's unread notifications. Alternatively, you can also go to the collaborator's page and see a blue dot next to any collaborator that has given you a notification that has not been read.

If you're not receiving emails with notifications or seeing them under the bell icon, there could be a few reasons for this. Here are a couple of things to do:

  1. Check your spam folder.

  2. Add us to your email contacts (support@timelinegenius.com).

  3. If you have team members, you will need to choose the timelines to follow. Make sure that you are following the timeline you wish to receive notifications for.

Each team member receives their own unique notifications, based on the timelines they are following. More information on following and unfollowing timelines can be found HERE.
